C-Team 2009 Emerald C-Team downs Laurens Academy 11-0 The Emerald Viking C-Team defeated Laurens Academy 11-0 Thursday night. The Viking offense was led by Austin Norton (2-2, 2 R) and Bradley Dixon (2-4, 2 R). Also providing offense for the Vikings were Hamp Fallaw (1-3, 2 R) and John Beale (1-3, R). Tanner Goff threw 4 scoreless innings to pick up his 1st win on the season. Devin Bryant threw the last 2 innings to complete the shutout for the Vikings. The C-Team's record now stands at 4-3. (March 19, 2009)   Emerald C-Team Defeats Greenwood 6-3 The Emerald C-Team defeated Greenwood High 6-3 Thursday afternoon at Emerald. The Vikings were led by Hamp Fallaw, who recorded his first win as a Viking. Hamp allowed 3 runs over 7 strong innings while giving up only 4 hits. The vikings were led at the plate by Bradley Dixon (3-3, 2B, RBI) and Rush Owen (2-2, 2B). With the win the C-Team improved its record to 3-2 on the season. (March 12, 2009)
